Through this child’s eyes
So much pain and suffering lies
To be abandoned, unwanted then gone
How can this pain continue to go on?
Crossing the border to this foreign place
My heart breaks slowly when I look into your face
What more can I do? I want to reverse the situation
I want to scream “Please God give them another option!”
How could you leave your child alone and cold
What could be more important than this tiny life for you to hold
I have to know and trust that our Fathers plan is far greater
For He is their one and only true lover and creator
Through this childs eyes
So much pain and suffering lies
Father give them profound love and peace
Provide blessings that never cease
As your little bare feet run down the halls
Beautiful laughter bounces of the walls
Such sweet music plays as every one begins to dance
I want you all to grow and remember this is your chance
Through this childs eyes
