On the road…
It’s officially the 5th day of tour. After many insane drives into the night, late night conversations with strangers and an incredible first screening we are on the move again.
Our first night staying with Thad and his family was incredible. They were sooo good take 6 strangers in at 5:30 in the morning. His mom made the most amazing home made cinnomon rolls and bread.
After a short stop in Austin the Deep South, Mid Atlantic, Florida team caravan stayed at my house a night. It was so surreal to see Ted and my family. Yet again, this whole experience has been a surreal blur.
The drive across the country continued as we loaded up and head out east to Mobile, Alabama. Without a place to stay…. I love the adventure! We made sure to make a quick detour to Cafe Du Monde and eat some beneigts in the French Quarter of New Orleans. God sent us Allan who let us sleep on the floor of his beautiful home in Mobile, Alabama. Trust me when I say his carpet was a cloud.
After brunch at Spot of Tea and seeing the history of downtown Mobile we hit the road yet again and stayed a few nights with Faith es wonderful family. Where there was a feast for every meal.
Now that we’ve all parted ways the Deep South team is officially on our own in Atlanta. We’ve met some incredible like people like Kelly, Jacki, and Brendon. We got to stay with Heather last night after our first screening at Berry College. It is soo beautiful, the largest campus in the world.
Now back to the road again…
Until I find another rejuvinating coffee shop,
Bethany
